The 111FD is a Professional Grade Bi-Folding Door Hardware Set designed for medium weight door panels.

The 111FD is similar in most respects to the 100FD except that it features a more compact track footprint and is tested for door weight up to 23kg. each. The 111FD also features surface mounted pivots and door guides so no special hole drilling is required. The hangers positive pivot lock securely holds door panels in place, no falling off the track. The 111FD is fully adjustable for quick door panel alignment, smooth action for superior fit and finish results. Door guides and pivots feature Johnson's® Locking Clip system that allows easy and quick installation or removal of door panels. Shock absorbing hinges self locate and automatically align doors. Heavy (14 – 16 gauge) zinc dichromate plated steel parts for a quality finish. Track can be cut down to fit any smaller size opening.

BOX TRACK

Heavy walled aluminum track is precision extruded for smooth operation. Box design means that doors will never jump track. The 111 series convex track rails are designed to have minimal contact with the hanger so friction is reduced offering smooth 'feather-touch' operation. Gutters on either side of convex track rails help collect unwanted dust build-up for continuous trouble-free operation. The 111 Series also features Johnson's® line-design fascia that helps hide finger marks and scratches, or to hold paint if desired.

TOP PIVOT SET

This 2-piece Top Pivot Set is made from heavy gauge steel and designed to hold heavy doors securely in place. The Top Pivot slots into the door plate and is locked into place with Johnson's® Locking Clip system, the result is doors that will never fall out of the track. The Top Pivot Socket slots onto the track rails and is locked into place with a locking screw. The Door Plate surface mounts to the door panel and allows for easy door panel installation or removal. The Top Pivot along with the Tricycle Door Hanger is designed to carry all of the panel weight, top hung bi-fold hardware operates with a non-binding sooth action and reduces the possibility of door warpage or deformation.

BOTTOM PIVOT (JAMB END)

1707 The Bottom Pivot is offset from the 1711 Bottom Pivot Bracket (not equal distance from door edge) therefore doors will never bind when in the open position and allow the doors to be pushed shut rather than pulled shut. The 1707 Bottom Pivot is surface mounted to the bottom of the door panel, no special hole drilling required.

BOTTOM  PIVOT BRACKET (JAMB MOUNT)

The Fully adjustable jamb mounted pivot bracket allows for horizontal and vertical alignment of doors panels with jamb for precision fit and finish installation result. 1707 Bottom door pivot snaps in or out of 1711 Bottom Pivot Bracket easily by spring actuated locking ring for easy door panel installation or removal. Door weight is held at top only - not supported by jamb bracket, thus no bind or friction problems.

TRICYCLE DOOR HANGERS

The tricycle design assures even weight distribution for all wheels when they make contact with track rails for a smooth non-binding action. Hanger cannot fall off the track yet can be easily disengaged from the door if necessary with a flick of the Johnson's® Locking Clip system. Machine turned and balanced nylon wheels are permanently lubricated.

TRACK STOP

The 1155 Track Stop is made from heavy gauge steel and designed to keep doors in the closed position. Track Stop slots into track rail and is locked into place with a locking screw.

SELF LOCATING PANEL HINGES

Johnson's® patented non-mortise self locating spring assisted panel hinge moves in concert with the 111FD bi-folding hardware action. The 1703 Hinge is designed to absorb door panel action and help compensate for door settling or door warpage if it occurs. Self locating hinge fingers automatically align door panels for correct spacing.
